Will the redesign be sustained now that the grant period is over?

The course-redesign model used in this project is being adopted widely throughout UCF. Two additional high-enrollment general education courses are being redesigned and offered with 67% reduced seat time. Additionally, the number of enrollments in reduced-seat-time sections at UCF has doubled in the last term. Discussions about the instructional model at meetings with each college dean and with department chairs have facilitated the diffusion of the model. Three other large-enrollment general education courses (English Composition I and II and College Algebra) are in various stages of planning and implementation of the reduced-seat-time instructional model.
