State and System Course Redesign
State University of New York:
SUNY Course Redesign Initiative (2007– 2010)

Redesign Projects

Building on lessons learned in the Program in Course Redesign and the Roadmap to Redesign, the SUNY CRI program is demonstrating how colleges and universities can redesign their instructional approaches using technology to achieve cost savings as well as quality enhancements.

Redesign projects focus on large-enrollment, introductory courses, which have the potential of impacting significant student numbers and generating substantial savings. Each project is piloting its redesign during the spring 2009 term.

The following links include contact information and one-page abstracts describing each project.

Two additional projects were planned but not piloted: Basic Communication at SUNY Canton and Preparation for College-Level Writing at Erie Community College. The links include a one-page abstract and contact information for each project.
